HOW TO GET PAST HOLES IN THE HUNT!

First, we all know SL has been a royal PITA this last week. This has made finalizing the hunt a HUGE challenge. Please know we are working as fast as we can to make it run smoothly. If you come across a store that breaks the chain, or a hunt item that only gives a LM, PLEASE send a NC to Eleri Ethaniel so this can be fixed ASAP. Please keep in mind the basic rules of hunt civility, which boils down to 'play nice': Don't do anything that will lessen other's enjoyment of the hunt and puzzle solving.
This is also known as (Wil) Wheaton's Categorical Imperative: Don't Be A Dick.

Just like any hunt, you will visit a chain of Vendors looking for a particular hunt item, and then use the landmark from the item to go onto the next store in the chain.
*However*, for this hunt, you will not get hunt goodies then, instead you will be given a clue or object that is needed to find the final location and gain the treasure: Snazzy Gifts from all the stores!
You will need to solve the clues to the final location, find the treasure chest, and have the objects that the chest asks for in order to be given the prize. Knowing where the treasure is, isn't enough ~ you'll need the keys to get in!
You are more than welcome to blog about working on the puzzle, solving riddles, or showing off the goodies you get, but please keep SURLs, spoilers and outright solutions to yourself. Remember, just knowing the final location won't be enough to get the goods, and things can be moved, so passing out and sharing LMs won't get you anywhere *scold* ;)

Wheeee!
The Vendor packs have gone out, the treasure is being hid... In just 6 short days, the floodgates will open on the Get A Clue Hunt!
This promises to be a very different hunt experience for most. Instead of gifts at each store, they'll be picking up clues to a final location where the treasure is hiding.
Expect cryptic scrolls, strange maps, and secret tasks before you are rewarded with the hard work and talent of the vendors!
