Moar Ending Glitch

Looks like there might be an issue with the ending treasure getting distributed, looking at it!

Have figured out that if, at the end, there are too many of the offering objects out, that it won't notice yours. Going to see about getting that script fixed tonight. They are supposed to vanish on their own, but they're not :/

Just come back and try when there's no offerings, and it should work!

Updat-y bits

I'm glad everyone is enjoying themselves, even with the hiccups!

If the end bit seems to be not working, give it a couple minutes and try again, especially if there was someone else with you. Scripts take a bit to reset ;)

As been busier week than expected for me, but I am trying to at read all the notecards!

HOW TO GET PAST HOLES IN THE HUNT!

Thank you to all the wonderful people who have helped me track down where issues are! I'm going to do a runthrough tomorrow morning, and update all the info I have. Keep on checking back here for more info!

If you find a store that only gives a LM, and not an item, please NC Eleri Ethaniel.
If you get to a store that has no Question Mark Hunt Item, PLEASE return to store #1- Eclecticat. All of the actually missing stores' items will be there.

IMPORTANT STUF FOR HUNTERS

First, we all know SL has been a royal PITA this last week. This has made finalizing the hunt a HUGE challenge. Please know we are working as fast as we can to make it run smoothly. If you come across a store that breaks the chain, or a hunt item that only gives a LM, PLEASE send a NC to Eleri Ethaniel so this can be fixed ASAP. Thank you so much for your patience, and enjoy the hunt!

Please keep in mind the basic rules of hunt civility, which boils down to 'play nice': Don't do anything that will lessen other's enjoyment of the hunt and puzzle solving.
This is also known as (Wil) Wheaton's Categorical Imperative: Don't Be A Dick.

Just like any hunt, you will visit a chain of Vendors looking for a particular hunt item, and then use the landmark from the item to go onto the next store in the chain.

*However*, for this hunt, you will not get hunt goodies then, instead you will be given a clue or object that is needed to find the final location and gain the treasure: Snazzy Gifts from all the stores!

You will need to solve the clues to the final location, find the treasure chest, and have the objects that the chest asks for in order to be given the prize. Knowing where the treasure is, isn't enough ~ you'll need the keys to get in!

You are more than welcome to blog about working on the puzzle, solving riddles, or showing off the goodies you get, but please keep SURLs, spoilers and outright solutions to yourself. Remember, just knowing the final location won't be enough to get the goods, and things can be moved, so passing out and sharing LMs won't get you anywhere *scold* ;)

The Vendor packs have gone out, the treasure is being hid... In just 6 short days, the floodgates will open on the Get A Clue Hunt!

This promises to be a very different hunt experience for most. Instead of gifts at each store, they'll be picking up clues to a final location where the treasure is hiding.

Expect cryptic scrolls, strange maps, and secret tasks before you are rewarded with the hard work and talent of the vendors!

Oh my gosh the hunt is filling up fast, and it's not even March yet! I'm really excited about the participating stores, too. Some goooood stuff in there!

The GET A CLUE HUNT is now looking for vendors. Please send a NOTECARD to Eleri Ethaniel in world for an application

This will not be your usual SL Hunt. Instead of each store giving out an item, the hunt item will contain a clue to the location of the ultimate prize- a single item hidden somewhere in SL, that will contain gifts from all of the participating stores!

There's lots of fun twists and supprises planned for this hunt, which will run for the month of May, please fill out the following notecard and send it back to Eleri Ethaniel by March 27th
